Are you making fun of me

I can actually do what you request. I have set my computer up to make this much easier. All I have to do now is push a single button on the computer to register a hit. An F for Ford, a G for Chevy or GMC, a D for Dodge or a J for all others (Japanese).

It would be very easy to add additional letters for truck attributes. For instance FD for Ford Dually or FS for Ford Single.

I was even thinking of adding the special AH category for those very special people out there

Ditto on the rush and dr laura. can you imagine the putz she must be married to? I think it would be a real good reason to commit suicide having to listen to her every day.

I know what you mean drove from LA to NY five or six times Rush works, Cartalk is hilarious but only one hour on the weekends apart from a live race, not much makes the time go by. I guess counting trucks pulling had never crossed my mind!

H2O, the real reason is the GM owners can PAY some one to do their towing!

I had a booth at the Atlantic city convention center RV show to sell deisel parts . When I pulled up to set up thee were close to 50 new fords sitting there , 1 chevy D-max, and 2 older dodges !

A few years ago I was in Oklahoma and the world horse show . There were 2500 rigs there at one time ! From the overpass I could see almost all of them and honestly could not see anything but Fords ! MAybe a couple freight liners or kenworths !

WHen you redo that count , can you tell us how many were diesels and how many NOT !?!?

h2o-
I get to do the same drive to get our AT around Easter (just leaving a from a little farther north) - did it last year without ever shutting the X down either direction. Turn on the radar jammer, turn up the CD's, and go like hell. At least the fuel isn't blended as you get south of Illinois.
When I was done beating the crap out of myself on this trip, I asked myself why.............
And Wally has it 100% right- hit the heavies like Atlanta at 3am. I drive into Chicago for work, and it's the only way to fly.
I think the trip will be broken up into a few more pieces this year. I'm getting way too old for this marathon chit.

I agree Jafo......It is too long of a trip to go straight through. I usually stop at the Flying J just north of the Florida border and sleep for a couple of hours.

And yes I did count the tow vehicles in the Flying J. Most were Fords

I am done making that trip for awhile. We will be making it again in the Fall for the Thunder Run.

The GM owners do pay others to do their towing, because it's cheaper than all the repair bill's they would have if they used the GM.
