Rock Harbor is in the area. They have both small cabins and apartment like rooms. Real clean and nice slips.

We stayed at Temple resort a couple times last year, they have a ramp and the prices are reasonable, and covered slips(they are tight but our 283convincor fits fine).. they are in the state park cove and are right off of 54...

Rock harbor is a good one,
( the water pressure in the shower
could have been better)
You can also try Cloverleaf,
it's across the cove from lakeview,
or relax-a-way, these places are
in the big cove around the 12MM,
the boat ramps aren't too great,
but you can use the Shawnee
Bend access.
These two put you in a good area of
the lake.

The ramp is a bit of a pain. I normally just use the one at Lake Shores Marina

I had to use the ramp at Runaway II. The place had more red necks and tents. I didn't like the place.
