Exclamation Help Quick!! Gapping plugs and can't find my gapping tool!!! Getting dark soon....

Putting plugs in my truck.....need to be .040" gap. Can't find my gapping tool or my calipers.

How thick is a dime? Or how many sheets of paper is .040"?? Anything around the house that is within .005 will be fine by me!!

Just measured a matchbook cover.......about 0.015 thick.

So...three of those would be 0.045

Got it all set guys. Thanks to a friendly Instant Message. I know I'm real close.....and it already runs better. 94,000 miles is too many miles on Champion plugs.

Thanks for the help though. Matchbook covers would have been lost on me.....don't smoke....and I know there aren't any in the house.

Ya, but I know where your boat is and you don't ha ha ha. It sounds like you are getting ready to find it. I will be home (from Boston) Monday so we can go get them..if I can remember where they are. I am hooking up with Audiofn and GLH on Thursday for some Boston fun so I finally get to meet the legendary Audiofn. He seems larger than life you know. Just kidding, I am looking forward to meeting him. I have to be good since I have another meeting the next morning. I know you have met him and you said he was cool so this should be fun. first thing i did when I got here was look him up and any others here. I'll talk to you Monday.
