I have alot of experience with the C5 and installing performance parts. I did a motor for a customer here at work. West Coast Corvettes has a kit that comes with ported heads, polished valves, cam, headers, computer, intake. It was a good conversion. The engine suffered a little on the bottom end, but the top end and RPM really picked up. I did another with only bolt ons. Intake, headers, X pipe, and a Yank 3500 stall convertor. This car was amazingly quick. The Yank torque conv. is just awsome. This was a 2001. It ran 11.93 in the 1/4 with a stock motor!! If you have an automatic the convertor is a must.

With the C5 it is just like boating; how fast do you want to go and $ to spend.

The C5 exaust from the factory is restrictive, and the Corsa is excellent.

But, if you want to go fast take it to Lingenfelter in Decatur, Ind.

He has packages that start about $ 7k and go up to ? The 383 stroker will give you 450+hp.

Anyone have any ideas of where to get exhaust and headers for an 88?

I have a B & B catback system, like new and a rear-end out of my 2002 Z06 brand new 342 gear ratio. If you have an automatic, this is the hot ticket for you. The rear-end has 3 miles on it. I put a 373 gear ratio in the Z06. also availabe is the complete air cleaner assembly. feel free to give me a call. Tom 262-827-8827
