I'm sure there are several good companies that do good prop work. York Propeller does an excellent job for the money! He doesn't advertise and doesn't need to.

Mercury Racing first, Bronson Hill second, I would not use anyone else, I've even heard horror stories about one of the companys listed on this thread!!! Cheap will not help you, it takes money to go fast remember BOAT = Break Out Another Thousand

I've tried a few different shops. The last one was York. The best advice I can offer you (w/o slamming the others) is send to Dennis at Mercury. You'll be glad you did.

Dennis Cavanaugh with Mercury Racing is also very good and knows his stuff, but I seemed to have better luck with John at DAH/ProPellers when it came to fine tuning for my specific application.
I would also recomend Julie and Matt at Throttleup Propellers. I have yet to personally have a prop lab finished there, but have heard many good things from other race teams.

Default Do you want best? or do you want cheap?

I wish I could find "Best And Cheap"! I have only been able to find "Best" and that is Mercury Racing Prop Lab. Dennis Cavanaugh. It is funny, I can't afford to save money! Take a $1000 prop, "Save" $100 in Lab work, and you might have piece of junk that cost $1100, I would rather have a $1200 prop that is a work of art.

Haven't gotten the prop back from Darin yet. Should be here the end of this week or the beginnig of next AT THE LATEST!!!!!!

Actually, just got the boat out of storage yesterday. Been doing a lot of stuff around the house and haven't had time to play or work on it anyway. Got the batteries charged and cables cleaned yesterday. Fired it up on the hose for a little while today and then it was time to work on it.
Started putting on the new CMI's Just took a little longer than I suspected with finding a good place to remount the shifter linkage and relocate all the cables so it looked and fit right. As I suspected from a large amount of steam in my exhaust last year, the Gil manifolds had some internal cracks. Nothing extreme, but enough to give the exhaust valves a nice rusty color. Gonna need a few parts to finish the plumbing on them, but should only take a few more hours. Hoping to splash it next week sometime.
