I'll wait and get mine in 2 years. I have no need to pay extra to be the "first" guy. It's a LOT cheaper to be the "next" guy.

Really thought I was falling for the new SL500 till I drove it. Lots of cool gizmos and looks, but not much faster than my 99. The SL55, though, is another story. Drove one. Like it. Lots.

As soon as somebody gets tired of one, I'll be interested.

scalptaker is right, they do not produce a lot of the high end cars like that and people are buying and selling them used for more than new!!! we do have a new 2003 S600 with the new twin turbo V12, a little over 500 hp in this baby, the 55's are supercharged with about the same HP, those cars are pulling in the dollars, if you have something in mind let me know, I will see what I can do for you on price

I've got my eyes on a new SL as well. Gonna watch the Market though.
