This winter we changed the name, freshened the motors, the cockpit vinyl, the engine compartment and added some silver accents here and there. This "retro / outdated" hammmer will never be "pretty" it's just my interpretation of no frills industrial strength offshore. ;)

BTW Saber did an awsome job on time and on budget. JD

Yup, we store the boat here in Columbus but have a boathouse on the lagoon at the Harbor in Sandusky. Pray for water. :(

Thanks, Unfortunately Smoke's the following weekend can't do both. Ya know we won't miss the LEOPA run in August, thats one of the best, most organized runs anywhere ( and nobody parties any harder than the Leopeans ) :D

DUDE SETTLE DOWN ! I just got back in the office and hadn't even gotten to the second page ! I really appreciate everybodies comments and will answer any and all questions. Everybody who knows me on this board will tell ya I've learned alot over the years
(the hard bustyourass expensive way) but will share what I've learned or have.

It's a half cabin, weighs 10,000 lbs dry ( incl all the necessary junk) and holds 300 gal of fuel in four tanks. There is also a 80 gal ballast tank in the nose. I've attached some old construction pics of the bulkheads.

Motors are 650CI / 1000hp Sterlings 5.5 lbs of boost.

It 'll run 105mph anytime but we've seen 107.8 on both GPS's
with the five blades, the six blades should be here any day, I'll report on them after testing.

Thanks for the interest, Jim Deitz

Madcow 04-28-2003 07:51 PM

Oh by the way. Nice shop. I went down to the shop to work on mine a little bit this afternoon. I wish I would have taken my camera to show you what kind of dark and dirty caves the rest of us keep our boats in. I'm still planing on lake St Clare at the end of June. Hope to see you.

Madcow 04-28-2003 07:53 PM

( and nobody parties any harder than the Leopeans ) :D

I'll drink to that!:D
