OT: help miami vacation
planning to stay in miami for a month.have no idea about the area.can you pls help me about where to stay?which hotel or is it possible to rent a apartment for a month? is this a good time for this trip? any help pls

Miami is a great place. Getting hot, though..
You need to line up a buncha boats and stuff to look at.
What level of hotel you after?
Biscayne Marriott is around $150/night and overlooks a nice marina.
There are cheaper places that are nice off Collins Avenue where some big brokerage boats hang out.
South Beach hotels are more pricey but are closer to the action.
