As someone who knows glassdave I take offense to the friends not helping comment. After all I cook the steaks when your done right? LOL. (guess I better show up a few times to lose that awful helper distinction eh?

Forget the bilge pump, just get one of those trash pumps with a 2" hose so when all those tools turn into a pile of rust they can be pumped overboard....

Changing the starter on the right engine is about a 4 hour job, but I can do the center engine in about 20 minuets! As far as droping something, if its not metal that you can get with a magnet it stays there till the next time you pull the engine.

. . . i have seen madcow standing on his head and grumbling. yea that thing has its share of tight spots an i guess i shouldnt feel to bad about just feeding the twins now that you mention it jim.

hey fever . . packinair informed me that when he works on one of his outboards an drops a tool it goes in the water and not the bilge . . . so either way its lost forever


mopower- thats some sweet lookin power. i'm asuming it is in your 272. have they been dyno'd? looks cool. i always thought those 272's were great boats.

dave and I both just left the shop where the hell were you with the steaks?? I had the morgan.....(had being the key word there).. you should really stop out and see where my boat is.. it take's "are you some kinda idiot" to a whole new level

Dave , now I'll give ya the dirty little secret as to why everybody who sticks with offshore boats eventually goes to twins with a full stagger. It's not that they don't unload as fast in big water, it's not about CG, it's not about directional stability and flying straight , IT'S ABOUT ACCESS ! Now don't tell anybody.
