Yes, the race will be in New Richmod, 10 min east of Cincinnati on St. Rt 52 (which follows the river).

The entire town's streets will be shut down for the event along the wall and the PA system will allow the entire town to hear the race broadcast. We also have some special people doing the announcements and a boat and RV show on the streets as well.

I have been to a lot of races, and I can say because of Terrah Lee's work this will be one of the best run and well organized events of the year. Not to mention food, drinks and rooms will be covered for almost all the racers.

Thumbs up Ohio

Ohio seems to be vey receptive to boat racing we have 3 races on our series schedule July 4 & 5 Marietta, July 19 & 20 Portsmouth, Sept. 13 & 14 Buckeye Lake. The people at all of these races have been very nice and we even have invites from some of the locals to join them for cookouts at their place. So thank you Ohio for your support

Hey Todd : I did think about running it...Just not enough "seat time" yet to be steering and throttling on a tight course.
My old boat I would have jumped on it !!

Joe & Sue said to bring your boat up anytime. There is always something going on up there !! You should come up & stay for the race weekend...They will have the best seats of the show !
Lots of people camp up there.....VERY nice people

I'm sure any racer with campers will be welcome to stay free..
Susan used to race Hydros !

Campers will be allowed to stay in the PITS as well at no charge. But why do that when the promotor is giving you a free hotel room Friday to Monday?
