Traverse city or Grand Haven

Which place would you guys go to? I'm going to plan a vacation soon to one of these places. Thanks

traverse area all the way, you are within 30 miles of six ports that all are boater friendly. plus the water doesn't look like chocolate milk

No comparison .......TC rules! way cleaner water and more to see and do put in at Elk Rapids Municipal (Shhhhhhhhits a secret) you can run both bays from there, I'll be ther the second week in August if you want a guide. Once you boat there you'll never want to run at home again!!! Its about a 3.5-4 hour pull north of Grand haven but way worth it!! Happy boating.
