When do you plan on leaving Northpoint? I am planning on making the run if the weather holds.

I plan on putting in early that morning and running around for awhile. I thought we would head back to Northpoint and see if there is a group from there that would like to run down together to Waukegan. Maybe 1:15 -1:30pm.

Let me put this out now then,
Will anyone that wants to run together from Northpoint down to Waukegan please post here. We can plan on gathering at the long dock by the ramp. The same as we did last year for the run to Racine. Maybe meet about 1:15 and by the time we get out of there it will be 1:30pm. How does that sound....

I was actually think ing on running down to Diversy and than comming back up with the group, But it depends on the weather. Now that I know what you are planning I will take that into consideration when I see Sunday's weather.

hope you guys had a good run today.... my new boat is due in anytime...and i'm planning on joining cops when i get it. what kind of water was out there i've never ran in the great lakes.. is the water big or not ?

We made a run to Diversey but it didn't take me long to decide that I wasn't going all the way up to Waukegan. We went into the harbor and didn't see any boats on the pier so we left. I did see a big Baja on the way out. It was around 2:00. You and Steve?
Maybe we should try to monitor a designated radio channel.
