I have been looking for my first boat for quite some time now... And I ran across this deal...I was wondering if anyone would know anything about Chriscraft Stingers.. I personally know the owner never rode on it but it is a clean boat.. I have no pics hopefully this weekend i can post some after prom is over....

He's asking 16,000 he said he would negotiate... I would really only like to spend around 10 or less grand only being 18...I've never really priced Chriscraft but any informantion would be greatly appreciated!!
Or if you know any other boats for sale let me know...

exact same boat i just purchased. for a 26 foot boat it has a great layout with a ton of room. i love mine. i got it from the original owner with less than 400 hours on it. you hafta be carefull when looking at Stingers though. every other one is a great boat. they had some production and quality probs back than but i think they got there act togather by 88. some of them had stringer problems but i think it was more evident in the boats over 30 foot. mine is built like a rock with no signs of stress. find out who did his glass work and if they are reputable. 16K sounds a bit steep unless it is VERY nice and on a trailer. i would think he has some bargaining room.
