Ok here goes my .02
I guess the board gods know of an AT that did roll? Why hasn't this Post been "POOF" yet? I placed a post about Homeless people in Key West that was on the World News CNN and yet they removed it.
So I ask the board gods Why is this post still on here other than the fact you also are getting your kicks from it!
I wonder If I go post a False Roll over about another boat company if they would leave it on here as well?
Or let me post about a cat. boat company that kills people because they sell really fast boats.
It's been days now Where is there Proof that an AT did roll?

Just got home, read the thread. I find it funny the Same Guy-WATERSPEED-Marcus who started THUNDER BLUNDER a few months ago, is back at it again. Hey, if Kevin and his Thunder is giving you to much competition, so be it, but don't start false rumors, and then on top of it show a lack of concern for my safety or anyone else that was supposedly on my boat. If you had any class you would have have pm'd me. I called you last time like a gentlemen, because a few guys PM'd me and said you were a decent guy, I won't waste a dime on my time.
For the record Radio Active is at Total Marine and has been there since the Tic-Faw 200 Poker run, getting the trailer painted and all fluids changed. The boat has never rolled or porpoised and since the article it has been dialed in to perfection by Total Marine in Slidell.

Hey Joey!
So what about the video? Can you post a link to the video of the spin, like the one you posted from Daytona?
Also, does anybody know if I can post an in-cockpit video from Freeze Frame without violating copy rights, etc. ?

apparently there was an Active Thunder that rolled over in or near the Bodkin creek in Md. a few years ago. not sure of all the details but it sounded like it spun out and rolled. this is not first hand information but second hand.

we chose to be apart of todays racing. we are making a lot of effort to see it go in a positive direction...anyone can sit behind a computer and criticize the APBA/Mike A., Merc Racing, step hull manufactures, and racers of today all they want...but they really need to get up from the computer and be part of the solution. i don't doubt for one second that there is a ton of people in here that can provide knowledge to better this sport....

Yes you chose to be part of todays racing. That is commendable. Do not forget however, that many members of this board, myself, T2x, Philip and many many others were doing what you are doing today some time ago. I left racing in the late 90's to move to what I feel is a more fun venue. Poker Runs. Many of the people that criticize as you said earlier, have been down this road with other sanctioning bodies, i.e. USO, SBI, OPT, HFC,etc etc. These people are speaking from a position of experience and have seen these same mistakes made in the past. I agree that knowledge is nothing unless you share it. I encourage you to retrace this board and look at all the information that has been shared here by T2x and others. He has made the mistakes and what are they worth if you do not learn from them. People like T2x and others have offered their view points and experiences, and recommendations for solutions, but unfortunately it is impossible to tell someone that knows everything, anything. Some here have heeded the advice of these individuals that have traveled this road and have been well rewarded for listening to the voice of experience. I encourage you to do the same.
As an aside, although racing is often built on personalities, arrogance will get no one anywhere. Sooner or later it all comes crashing down. Arrogance may get you attention in the short term, but in long run it serves no meaningful purpose other than to boost ones ego. It can be a difficult line to walk between being confident and challenging, and not appearing cocky and arrogant. Choose wisely. You have a powerful medium at your disposal in being a columnist. Use it, but repsect it.
Best Wishes,
Shane
