I really love this truck and would keep it and drive it until the wheels fall off, but I need something with a higher towing capacity within the next two weeks

Yes it is 4X4.

The Denali is a real fancy GMC Tahoe or Suburban. Kind of more like an Cad. Escalade.

Hmmmmm, higher towing capacity? Two weeks? Something sounds like that little boon-doggle trip to LA with Hugh went REALLY WELL!!!!

I trust www.Edmunds.com moreso than NADA. NADA always seams more slighted toward the dealer rather than consumer.

I think you have it priced right; as you are willing to negotiate. $5500 is not too shabby on Trade-In, but it sounds as though the dealer is getting some moolah back from the hold back, as he is going to have to wholesale it anyhow.

You can always check with 'bsag' from here on the board to see what he can do for you. He took care of Too Old, myself, and a few others.

Are you getting the 8.1 or the 6.0 in the Suburban, (or is it an older one)? Just remember my mileage went from 14 all the time on the '96 2 Door Tahoe, to down right PAINFUL on the new 8.1. Thankfully, it has been retired from daily driver to boat puller only.

Wait, you mean; crankcase, tranny, brake, freon, wiper fluid, antifreeze, front transaxle, and rear transaxle fluids too right? I imagine you go ahead and re-pack all the bearings and zerks each time out too right?

You guys are funny. I still have the truck. I think that advertising it on Memorial Day weekend was a bad idea. Between the Holiday and the RAIN, I got very few calls.

Brian, call me (202)439-6940
