Its actually pretty cool cruising around NY harbour in a race boat.

Man ...does that water get hairy with all the ferries and ships

I've seen some aerial footage of that race and I can appreciate how hairy it must get! I don't think I've ever seen so many spectator boats, yachts, sailboats, etc. at any one race! Furthermore, to have those commerical boats out there too must make things VERY interesting for the driver...and give the word trust a new meaning to the throttleman!
