I bet that Apache isn't that bad, he had to have had it trimed way out and going fast to get that far on land.

The pics of the 36 Apache are not recent.
Happened a few years ago. Was posted on the Apache thread ages ago.

Was not sure of the date of the pictures. The fact that the cockpit cover was on the boat cracked me up. :)

Wow

When did that happen to that apache? Ive seen it out there, but its been a year or 2.

There was another one this weekend that ran on shore. I got pics right after it happened. Ill upload them. Our lake (travis) fluctuates 20 feet and islands pop up all over the place.

That guy is a LUCKY SOB that he hit a grass lawn. There's probably no damage to the hull, just the ego and shorts. The drives though...........:(

Poor Apache. .. .

baja, it happened in may of 2002 during the poker run. we had just checked out the boat at one of the card stops. the boat belongs to a sub contractor that works for us now and then. i was told he sent the boat back to FL to have it fixed.

I agree since he hit what looks like just mud and grass it should have been alright, especially since it's a APACHE!!

It is funny that he put the cover on, I bet he thought that the interior was now the best part of the boat and he might as well try and protect it!!

If God is listening, If you ever make it possible for me to own a APACHE, I promise I will not run it aground!!!

:D
