So do I.... No progress to date..other than throwing out the mustang car seats....and taking the (long shaft)motors off. The real work will start in earnest....once we find some vintage motors.

More like a time of 55 MPH speeds.....for anything bigger than an outboard hydro. The Wing basically doubled the envelope in 1960.
By 1964 or so.....other hulls were beginning to come close.....but you have to admire the guy for braving the unknown...at truly fatal speeds.
The only actual fatality I know of in a wing design occurred in copies made by DeSilva boats in California...... for OMC. I think two disintegrated..... at least one at Havasu.
