Good post...I was watching the 3000 also waiting for the Daytona Race, and I couldn't believe all the stupid moves I saw in this race. It seemed like not 2 minutes went by between stupid moves.

That guy losing his lead 200' from the finish line was probably the dumbest thing I've ever seen in racing. He could have coasted in and won, but no...he had to stop and wave like an idiot...

I remember Rick Felsen in High Risk after taking the win swinging around and coming by to wave at us on the beach in Sarasota in '98 and loosing ( going to 3rd place) when he was weighed at the pits and being TOO light because of the fuel used for the wave!! Boy did we feel bad but did appreciate the wave and he still speaks to us today!
