Octane boost is for the most part junk just real strong cleaner. Race fuel is the only way to go but you should only use it if you have to, most marine motors don't need it unless real high comp. race motors.

I have been using this fuel called Nu Tech in the race bikes I build and tune. Even stock bike's that run real good on pump gas have been making 6-10 more on this fuel. That may not seem like a lot but if it had 105hp now 115 that's a lot. Down side it eats up rubber and cost $22 a gal. How much do you want me to send you?

I use alot of CAM 2 and its about 3+ a gallon in bulk , I hate octane boost as you never really now what your going to get .
and my boat holds about 250 gallons so thats alot of octane boost (well Cam 2 aswell).

I use Liquid Horsepower from CPPerformance, 18.00 a bottle treats 120 gallons.

Nutec is oxegenated and has to be jetted for accordingly or you will be very very lean.

Just in case anyone was considering a tank full.

As far as octane, you motor will run best on the lowest octane it will take w/o detonation. Let the octane debate begin...
