Question about Active Thunder
There is a 25' Active Thunder that I has caught my eye. The boat is a 1994 and when I went to www.nada.com, it refers me to Cannon Powerboats for the years 1994 and 1995 to get a value. Were the 1994's not built by Active Thunder? Any information someone could provide would be greatly appreciated.

That year Thunder would have been built in Spring Grove Illinois. Not sure if Pat had bought the company yet or not. It was right around 94-95 that Pat bought Thunder. You'll need him to come on here and tell you more about that time frame.

Bam Bam,
I also sent you an e-mail response, Pat bought the company in 1995 and did production there for a while until he moved the factory to Pompano. I am not real sure of the build quality of the boats prior to that time, but I can certianly attest to the design of the boat and the quality of the boat as I owned a 25 a few years ago. I would advise you to get a survey, both structural and mechanical for your piece of mind.

I bought Pat's 32 that was built by Cannon in '94. Must of been a good quality boat because Pat had one and then bought the company or what ever. I know the boats were built like tanks......I have been in several Cannon 32's!!! Still get a survey.
