SOTW Poker Run WEATHER FORECAST...
#11
BTJ88, thanks for the help with the best vantage point.
Now, here's an update from the local weather forecast as of 10:45pm. Very little rain is expected tonight. Tomorrow is supposed to be variable cloudiness with no rain expected. They said that there will be maybe a 20% chance or so of rain during the day, BUT only further inland----NO RAIN expected along the lake and lakeshore areas! That's NOT a bad report!
I was there tonight, LOTS of boats and met several members of this board. Lots of nice lookin' hardware. I saw Tomcat there with his Skater making an evening run out on Lake Michigan---the lake is calm. He put on quite a show, rooster tail, sound of those engines, speed and all----that thing BOOKS! I saw and spoke with MitcherT as well----he's really cool guy. He had his little model Skater there all painted up with his custom graphics----it was auctioned off for $1750. Plus I saw that 55' boat with the twin supercharged diesles, Arneson drives that push that thing to about 75mph! Quite the boat! Should be an interesting day tomorrow!

Were out the door in a few minutes and will be there about 8:00am to check out the hardware and the start. We are planning to head up to Muskegon Lake about 2 - 2:30.

As of 8:30am no rain reported to be a problem----rain has moved to the north and now there is a very isolated, remote chance of rain and that will only be for inland areas.
Waves are CALM to 1'-----5-10mph out of the west. The day will become sunny as the day goes---and temps will climb to somewhere in the 70* mark.
I'm out the door to see the boats coming into Holland.

We woke to sunny skies down here. Going to be 75 today. We've got some graduation openhouses to go to today and they are talking rain tomorrow. Oh well, there's always next weekend.
Have fun at SOTW guys! I wish I could be there.
