I spoke with nextel on Friday.... they told me by the middle of August the whole nation will be connected.....

There is a $10 unlimited nationwide direct connect charge....
If not it is .10 cents every minute for nation wide service...

Billable in 10 minute incraments

They have promising that for about 4 years now.

"Yeah, it'll be up next month." I dumped mine. Actually my boss did. He dropped it in my beer at happy hour one night, after hearing me complain one too many times, and told me to go buy something else. We call them 'NoTell', no telling if it is going to work or not.

The only reason that I have one is that everyone in the construction industry uses them

I cant think of the last time I used mine and didnt have to say "huh?" or "what was that?" or "say again"

That's why there are so many cellular companies. We love them. They work perfect for our bussines. Been with them for 5 years. Still have a couple of the old phones that look like a brick. They are on the shelf, but we have them.
