Scott/OL42, I do not doubt you run 125mph+ with 1200's. I am refering to just some of the other boats that claim big speeds, where were they? Not everyone broke. More money then driving experience?
Outer Limits are awesome boats, I have nothing bad to say. I do agree they are pricey, but nothing about boats is cheap, to each there own.
APBA, what a joke, way too political and it always seems to be one step forward....two steps back!

Yes...very good.

Next year don't buy extra tickets for your crew, and just go inside. Then scalp your 2 tickets that came with the entry fee to a couple of new-comers who won't know that they are paying $35 for a hot dog and some baked beans.

Oh yea...next year, due to inflation, the hot dog meal will probably be $40. ;)

outer42 06-18-2003 08:01 AM

Jeff, thanks, gtx without a cabin. as for be nicer to deal with talk to mike. There was a guy up there that bought a used 37 and put his own power in it and mike went out with him and helped dial the boat in and spent alot of time with him. If you're every in thr area come for a ride or if i get out there,i'll be in sarasota in october god wiiling. Scott

outer42 06-18-2003 08:06 AM

MIKE, Bob was the only one there with bigger power in the 42 fire and ice with the 47 with 1400. The speeds are in bobs boat and mike boat which is mine now changed motors to 1200. maybe 1500 for next year and i'll sea 150.

hi-perf-2000,Thanks for the info, done deal. I like to eat good,i'll buy you a drink say hi Scott

The Liberty House WAS a nice restaurant until the MAZZO crew busted in the joint Friday night! Showing up with their own liquor and plastic cups! hahahahahaha I still love brother Pete!

Food at the Liberty House was good - service SUCKED BIG TIME!!!!!!!

As for Mike Fiore running 140+ in a V-Hull...it has been done serveral times. Unfortunately Sat he was not able to. As Scott already said - it's all about having the right luck at the right time.

Trying to bring the motors, water, crew & luck all in line together is a VERY TOUGH THING TO DO as we all know.

Mike Fiore will set the benchmark for the V Bottom KILO this year.

The Real Deal!

1. Jassman you have no idea how wise a man you are.
2. If I had this, I could have done that. If the chicken laid an egg, I could of had breakfast.
3. How come my boat only runs 110 and I just blew away the boat that runs 145?
4. How come the boat that runs 145 only runs 118 for 8 hours before it explodes? (If you are lucky)
5. Why is it a boat only has 12 hours and has had 8 sets of motors in it.
6. Does 4 Poker Runs on a motor make it junk?
7.The boat will run 145 in it with one person, no cabin and no fuel.
8. There is more to quality then paint.
9. A hot dog is not worth $50.

Sounds like fun to me.

KENP,GPS DON'T LIE. LOOK AT RONS PICTURE.

Von Bongo 06-18-2003 12:07 PM

I dunno, my GPS in the Pantera said 207.6 last night when it was sitting on the lift. I am not sure it would do 207 if you shoved it out the a C-151 at 15,000 feet!

But I know it will read that with a bad signal under the dock....so don't believe everything you see or hear..unless your a Democrat..then it's required.

Don't you mean 158? When I saw the boat at the dock it was locked in at 158. When I asked the person on board if that was the best for the day, he replied yes.
But what's 10 mph....;) :D :D :D

dutchman 06-18-2003 03:08 PM

the person you asked on the boat was correct when he said 158 BUT THAT WAS COMING BACK the true speed for the day was 168 between the 2 bridges ||||

dreamboater 06-18-2003 05:42 PM

OL42, shed some light on what you said about apba getting there **** straight, I have been wondering why Mike and the rest of the Outerlimits crew dont go for the world V-hull record. According to those speeds on the GPS recall 147 or 148 is enough to break it.

outer42 06-18-2003 05:57 PM

THEY WENT FOR IT IN LOTO,BUT CALLED DUE TO WEATHER,IF THE LLC LOSES APBA THATS WHAT I MEANT AND ALL THE OTHER B.S. GOING ON WITH MERCURY. MIKE BUSY RIGHT NOW AND IT TAKES ALOT OF TIME TO GET READY,HE WILL GO FOR IT SOON.

I think you guys enjoy blowing smoke up each others asses

KenP 06-18-2003 10:17 PM

Scott, Nothing personal against you or anyone else. All I am saying this nonsense is not fun to me. Anyone who has a boat that runs for 3 hours and explodes is not my idea of fun. Nor is paying $50 for a hot dog.

By the way you left the engine lights on in your 37 last year when we were hanging in the Bamboo. I was also the guy in the 30 Spectre that you were trying to pass in your 37 last year. Good luck with the new boat. I hope all is well.

Lets get it straight Ken...It was $35 for a Hot Dog and some Rubber looking burgers. But that did include free relish and mustard.

charlie 28 06-19-2003 11:32 AM

Even the partymaster himself BILLY FRENZ is attending the Poker Run in his boat!

Shane 06-19-2003 02:31 PM

I'll be there as well. Just not sure what boat I'll be in. If wifey poo goes we will be on the Excavator, a beautiful 382 Formula. If not I may be driving for Charlie Tesauro in his 28 Skater. We'll keep you posted.:D :D

The Wizard 06-19-2003 02:53 PM

Hey Charlie,

Hows it going buddy? Your the guy that people should be talking about. If they would compare boats and Horsepower, your boat ran the most impressive. I would drive for you any day Charlie!! Just because some folks have bigger and faster boats does't make them better runners! Well...maybe:D but not by much as you can see..........;)

Keep on spanking them out there....:D:D

Never saw so many men cry

Outerlimits rules
#1 Show up with the most horsepower so you always will be the fastest.
Rule #2. AlWAYS be the first on plane no matter what the pace boat does!

mr_velocity 06-19-2003 05:19 PM

This really cracks me up. "My boat is faster than your boat." Well take it and race it. Better yet, run the entire season and when you're national champion then yes your the fastest.
