THESE GUYS HAD FUN, Thats what it is all about. It shouldn't be about B.S. speed numbers, if you won, great, if not, better luck next year. My hats off to the Nor-Tech 3 sweep. I personally don't know of any V that is quicker than a cat, and it proved out true this last weekend. Alot of great boats, and alot of great people, and thats what this sport should be about.

We hit 126 as a top speed. Mike Fiore's boat broke but he showed me the speedo recall showing it did 148 at some point in the past.

Those speeds are incredible in a V-hull must be huge motors in Mike Fiore's boat, I am also guessing both of these Vs were GTX's

yes they are,but jerry boat from trenton marine is close too and that a reg 42,i have more just trying to dial it in a little more and rock solid at my speeds it unbeliveable.

I think it is pretty sad that the nor tek cats are proud that they beat a few vee bottoms, I am sure that there were no skaters there with big power or I am sure it would have been a different story, so the guy with the four engine cat should enjoy his moment in the sun for finishing first in front of a few two engine pleasure vees.

XXX, and the Nor-tech guys, you know the 2 - 36' cats, with only 2 motors still managed 2nd and 3rd, with not overly big power. So whats' your other screen name Good first post
