dude i had no idea you were in a wheel chair.

Why can't you sit in bolster? It is becasue of the lack of support while seated? Or do you require a seat that has more of a bucket to keep you in place. Some boats i'd feel much more confortable seated in a deep bucket (like spraco car racing seat) than a standup while some boat for some reason i'd feel safer in a bolster even some low freebaord boats i'd feel better in a bolster. Butthen again the project i'm considering woudl most definatly be considered a stanup boat BUT i'd want to put in deep buckets!!

snap some pics of your interior if you get a chane and I'm sure we'll be able to figure out a seating arrangment that will A. allow you to ride either shotgun or drive and B. look tricked

That's some good thinking Ryan!!!

I would love to see a finished product............a nice Fountain w/ those high-back bucket seats would look very trick!!!!!!

The throttles I got from you are working (or should I say looking) great. It's the rest of the boat that's having all the problems

Be down the 4th? That's the date we are shooting for w/ mine! Hope to see you out there.

sitting is the only way to go! if set-up right i should add! you HAVE to have some of the seat come over you legs to hold ya in...the gauge set-up you have pictured is not really that hot....but i'm sure a ton more thought will go into it prior to cutting!

Hey everyone,

Thank you so much for all the suggestions and help so far. I am attaching a few pictures of my current set-up. If anyone has a contact with someone who can help me out or anyone is a manufacturer who would be willing to help me out, please let me know. You all are some of the greatest people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Thank you for all your help so far. Maybe I can find something this week.

The link for Premier is a good one THEY MAKE THE DONZI ZR seats. They also make Spectre, Phantom, AMT, Extreme, Hustler Cats, Activator, Sunsation, Superboat interiors. They did an awesome job on my interior of my Skater too. Lee and Jim are great guys. 941-752-6271

Thanks for the input Ryan, I'll give them a ring.

Audacity,
I would love to do that but the market on Fountains is terrible right now and I can't get what I need from my boat. I may try to later if this doesn't work.

Also, the boat looks totally different now, those are old pics.

I just opened my July issue of Hot Boat and on page 36 there is an article on a guy confined to a wheelchair who is restoring a jet boat. Thought you might be interested. Maybe they can put you in contact with the guy.
