I just opened my July issue of Hot Boat and on page 36 there is an article on a guy confined to a wheelchair who is restoring a jet boat. Thought you might be interested. Maybe they can put you in contact with the guy.

High back chairs are great ! 2 things though . Most boats with them are real shallow cockpits .(you sit on the floor ) .so you will need the right mounting brackets to get you the height and to hold them in place safely. And you will have to modify your cover too. the other thing is if you like to boat without your shirt on , you may need to start wearing one with those seats ! That seat against your back will realy make you sweat and it hard to get a tan on your back too !! Great idea though . Best of luck with it . JOE

Boot,

Great thoughts. I am already having to have a new cockpit over made b/c of the added hatch scoops. As far as sweating, I can't due to my injury. Crazy huh!!!!!!
