No way in hell!! it would ever go 100... We use to own a 2002 34Vyper ran in the 70's.. It would be fun though to ask for a ride on it.. haha

I sent the seller an email with questions on motors, this is the info back from seller on this boat...

WE ORIGINALLY SAID THIS BOAT HAD TWIN 502'S BUT WE STAND CORRECTED. THE
ENGINES ARE 500 BULLDOGS WITH 475 HP EACH. THE PITCH OF THE PROPS IS 27
DEGREES. WE HAVE NEVER USED GPS TO MEASURE THE MPH ONLY THE SPEEDO. IF YOU
WOULD LIKE TO KNOW MORE CALL GRAY AT 214-724-3073

I find it hard to believe Powerquest put bulldogs in a '95 - did Merc even build bulldogs in '95?

I just sent the seller an e-mail, asking for pics of the engines and a couple other questions. In his defense, it looks like the owner is some auto loan or finance company - they may have just bought the dealership where this boat was at, and don't really know anything about boats. Of course, if that's the case, maybe the guy should keep quiet rather than spout a bunch of bull****...

when I put my faria speedo in it added five mph to my boat. The only thing that sucks is it must have screwed with my gps because now it reads slow. HMMMM

I have yet to see ANY PQ do 100MPH. If this 34 does 100MPH, it's the only one and it's gotta be a handful to drive.

I just got an e-mail back from the seller, with some additional information and pics:

WE WERE INCORRECT ABOUT THE ENGINE SIZE THEY ARE 500 BULLDOGS WITH 475 HP,
EFI, THE BOAT HAS A REFRIDGERATOR, HEAD, SINK, THIS BOAT HAS SHOWED 100MPH
ON THE SPEEDO BUT NEVER TESTED WITH GPS. I AM SENDING SOME BETTER PICS OF
THE BOAT TODAY. I WILL SEND PICS OF THE ENGINE TOMORROW. IF YOU NEED TO CALL
ME MY # IS 214-724-3073 MY NAME IS GRAY
No pics of the engine compartment, though it does look clean from the pics he sent me. Now, I might be wrong, but I thought the 540 Bulldog was always a carb'd motor, not EFI as this guy claims; apparently Merc no longer offers it, since I can't find it on their website.

I get the feeling this Gray character doesn't know a whole lot about boats...
