Really it was a 10 minute ride up and down Sarasota Bay, it got to 100 real fast, it was the same day as the test. I was sitting there playing with trim well Todd drove and throttled it wasn't very sensitive to the trim, we need some more prop while we were out. Once you've been 90+ in a 24 foot boat with 400HP 100 in a 39 full canapy V is Kinda boring????

that means that they shaved it down to tissue paper and the 525's are stronger than s h i t .Good job SKATER!!
The only problem I have is they are still using wood stringers etc.Todays tech is so far past that.

A sign of a good hull design is not needing trim at all...

Certainly there can be arguments made for synthetic materials to replace balsa coring. However, I have NEVER seen a Skater rot. Not ever. I am sure that with all the technology that goes into building Skaters, if Peter thought it would be an improvement to the boats design and construction he would do it.
