O.K. -- I have worried, fretted, and finally given up on what type of graphics to put on the boat. Then on Monday, someone posted about plain white... BAM! I could go with white.

Here is the problem: the boat is an '84 scarab s-type (flat deck). Most of the boats I see in plain white are newer. Would a boat of that era look O.K. in plain white.

The one thing OSO has no shortage of is opinions. Let's hear them.

If it is the same as my friends, white would look good, but I would call STICKER BOY a.k.a. Ryan Beckley. He can do some computer generated renderings of what it would look like and give you some great ideas for vinyl. Then in a matter of years you can always change. Ryan is as fair and as GOOD as they come! I have known Ryan since 1996 and think very highly of him.

When I did my 88 Scarab in all white I thought it looked too plain so after about a month I put some vinyl on it and everyone said I ruined it. So off came the vinyl and I wrote scarab lenghtwise on the deck and put the beetles on the vents and the compliments kept a flowin'. Just my .02

Nice ridin' boat. TRS drives and clevers? My buddies has twin 454's with twin Gail Banks turbo's per engine! I say paint it all white and run it for a while and see how you like it. Have Ryan do some renderings and kick it around a while. Ask some friends for their thoughts. Throw the pic's up on here and I am sure you will get it exactly how you like it.
