Default project boat?

With the spare time of the summer, looking for something to keep me busy. Anyone know of any decent project boats around? Any ideas on where to look? Looking for old Aronow boat, old Check Mate, Baja, etc. Looking to spend less than 1000 on boat and trailer initially, with or without power.

Thanks,
Tommy

under a $1000 is going to be tough. Especially for a name brand boat. and forget about with a trailer. Beside any trailer taht you get witha hull for $1000 you arne;t goign to want to tow on eth road.

It might be fun starting with a 16 foot outboard boat as your first resto project.

Here's a project for ya......$175
Is that for sale? 175? Where are you at and when can I pick it up?
