You can only get the 8' bed on a 2500. On a 1500 6' bed is max. You know anyone interested in a perfect truck please send my way.

Are you sure about the HD only on the long bed? I make my living working on new trucks (literally). I see 1500 long bed trucks all the time.

Something I actually find kind of funny. Customers call me up all the time wanting to order a bedliner or get a quote on a spray for their bed. I ask them if they have a Long Bed or Short Bed? They say "the standard bed for an extended cab or crew cab". I have to go into a lengthy description of how there is not a "standard" bed for a crew cab or extended cab truck. Most don't believe me until they start looking around a little.

Aaahhh. You would be correct. I thought you meant a 1/2 ton long bed of any kind. They don't make a Crew Cab in the regular half ton series, therefore you can't get it in a long bed either.

Misread on my part.
