I'll be the other big white boat (382 Formula). Should be easy to spot - we'll be following behind a certain BajaBlob 38 Special that's weaving erratically even though the driver's sober....

Reckless32 07-01-2003 10:46 PM

The lower Chesapeake Bay...

Otherwise known as the real Chesapeake Bay.....:D

I'll be coming from Art Lilly's marina on the Severn and usually go north under the bridge to whatever destination I feel like at the time. Look for a white flat deck scarab with blue hull sides. What does your boat look like, I'll look for it?

R Addiction 07-02-2003 09:28 PM

MM, Where was that pic taken at? We'll look for you!!!:D

Reckless and Cignificant...What are your plans for the weekend? I am trying to figure out what I am going to do and it absolutely involves a trip down your way Rick!

Send me an e-mail and let me know what your plans are...I am looking for someone to follow around due to my unfamiliarity with the water down there.

I plan on heading out Saturday morning…In-laws are in town until then. Leaving from Hopewell Yacht Club...

Whew!:

Wednesday: Run to Baltimore from Havre de Grace in-the-rain. Yechh.
Thursday: Hang around Harborview Marina until the weather clears and party with BajaBob (Yeah!).
Friday: Run to Herrington Harbor (North), get heat stroke and BAD sunburn.
Saturday: Bail from Herrington (OVEN!) and go to Cambridge Hyatt (W-O-W!!!)
Sunday: Run from Cambridge to Jellyfish Joel's, meet up with Craig223 and Nancy, swim a lot to cool off; run to Still Pond for one more raft-up, then home (successfully dodging thunderstorm on the way).

259 miles, and every one of them great fun. God, I love The Bay.

R Addiction 07-06-2003 09:02 PM

Chuck , what time did you get back? We went to the Nauti Goose for dinner then back to the marina by 6:45. Must have just missed you. Glad you had great weekend!:p
