Default Pacific Offshore still alive?

Is POPRA still around? Their website doesn't seem to show too much activity of late?

We will be there for the Ventura Race Sept 26... Anyone interested in leasing a boat for the race, call 513.706-3199.

Last weekend POPRA had a rally to raise funds for the club. There is a race in Benecia on July 26-27, and then every 2-3 weeks through September 26-27 (Ventura).

Boat counts were low for the first race (no worse than SBI races) and should increase for Benecia.

Georges,
POPRA is alive and well our first race was in Oceanside 5-4,with a big gap to the second race in Benecia 7-25thru27. The races usually go off once a month, with seven total. The problem we are experiencing is a low boat count! We have an outstanding managing team starting with our pres. Bob Leach on down these people really know how to produce and manage a race! If you or anyone you know is interested in competing there is a class to fit almost any boat! I promise you a GOOD TIME! The teams that are competing are really good people and ready to help (if needed) any new competitors. If anyone has any questions check out POPRA's web site or e-mail me I would happy to help how ever I can.

Hey Brian,
Glad to hear POPRA is still very active. We met you in KW last year. Is Rick still on the throttles? We were spectating at Benicia last year and plan on being there again this year. See you there.

Georges,
It's good to hear from you. Yes Rick and I are still together. I hope to see you in Benicia this year! I am leaving for Savannah in about an hour so I have to make it short. I will see you soon!
