Default Need to rent an F350 or equivilent

Well, this has been an interesting weekend so far..... on friday, I took a ride to a friends house to pick up her boat....it was hot as hell and I left the truck running with the A/C on max..while I was inside my friends house having a cold drink I watched my F 350 steam out of the driveway and across the street and then proceed to total itself into a huge pine tree

My good 'ol buddy Monroe somehow knocked the shifter into drive

Oh well, it`s only iron, Monroe was fine

What really sucks is that I have a couple of boat hauling jobs for next week and I need to find a 1 ton truck with unlimited milage to rent for a while.

and to top it all off the port motor on my Cig blew up yesterday.

Oh well, it`s only iron

I'm at a loss for words for you man. I wish I could help you out with a truck. Hopefully someone on the board know how to rent one. Hmm GM has a 24 hour test drive... if you could do 90 the whole way non stop... I guess you still couldn't make it. Good luck.

Fred, thanks a bunch! But I`m sure I`ll figure something out in a day or so.

We are gonna enjoy the Pachanga and do some swimming and just fuggedaboatit for the day.

Kurt.

Biggus, Im going out of town from Sunday until Friday Am. My F350 dually Diesel will be sitting in Albany for that time and you are welcome to use it.

I feel your pain brother, Last week I had a person coming to look at my Outlaw I am selling. My dock where I keep the boats are 2 miles up the Lake, So I have my wife drive me up there so I can bring the boat to the launch across from my house and take the boatout and give it a good cleaning. She leaves me there, I go down to the boats and find that I left the bilge pump on and killed the batteries. So I untie my Top gun to go back to the house and get the jumper box and while on the way I blow a motor in the Cig. I limp to the house on one motor, get the jumperbox and head back to the dock and the Baja. Doesnt it start to pour with one hell of a thunder storm !! I tie up the Cig and get the Baja going and head back to the ramp to finish what I had started. Once out of the water I acid wash the bottom and give the boat a good cleaning as much as you can In the rain. I back the Baja up My driveway and un hook it from the truck. My drive way is on an incline so I start cranking the trailer up high and blocking then cranking and blocking to get the nose of the boat up high. Doesnt the jack slip on me and te boat comes crashing to he pavement, the trailer jumps its blocks and of goes a 29 Outlaw on the trailer heading down the drive way towards.....MY TRUCK !!! Smash into the tailgate and rear dually fender. I was never so pissed in my life $2400.00 damage to the truck $0.00 to the boat and trailer. If the boat didnt hit the truck though I would have been in real trouble. It was headed across the street and into the Algonquin Restuaruant parking lot and crushing 3 or 4 cars and into a large crowd of people HOLY **** !!

Anyways, call If you need the truck. It doesnt look so pretty from the back, but is totally functionable

PS Do you want to get all the pieces from our Cigs engines together and put one good boat together for July ?? (lmao)

Biggus- Sorry about your truck. I knew Monroe was helping you do some of that driving I guess you have to go over the lesson where he steps on the brake before he shifts!
Otis (Bob)- Man I don't know about your luck in the last month with boats and all, maybe your due for a golf vacation in Arizona!!!!

Thanks for the offer, It`s stuff like this that makes this board what it is That`s one freaky chain of events! Good thing no one got hurt!

Shift interlock should have kept tranny in P. !!!!!

Unless Monroe has taken up driving and pushed brake and shifted at same time.

In which case he needs driver ed.

Suggest Parking Brake and Good luck!
