Pulse Drive follow-up

1 Attachment(s)
1) We removed the hook in the chine in front of the propellers and added some rocker.
2) The did some work on the present propellers ( still waiting for the right ones that we ordered).

Results :

Boat is running great, the bow is up again and I reached 79 mph at 5200 rpm. My original top speed was 81 mph so with the new props we are expecting 85 mph.
My goal was to get my original top speed with the reliability of the Pulse Drive and so far I have achieved that.
I will let you guys know more after the new props.

Can someone fill me in on the original setup? I would think that pulse drives would increase speed.

I believe the original drives were #3's or #3A's

Original drives Speedmasters 3A's and 730hp.
We are still waiting for the right props and that is when I am expecting more mph.

Dr. Santiago,

Looks like you're making progress. I'm picking up my drive this weekend. It's about time to drill some holes in a perfectly good transom. :D

Whats this thing cost ????

How has the handling changed with the pulse drives? Is docking harder, easier, no change? Post more pictures if you can.
Thanks

Docking is better and handling about the same but a little loose if you trim up too much.
