I looked that boat over real good at the Smoke On The Water poker run this past June. What a great boat!!!

Classified, welcome to the OSO board. Give us some more details. Please!!! Your boat was my favorite of all the v-hulls at the run. You just have to like the big cats, but your v-hull is a great piece of hardware.

those boats are called socs special operation craft built by UNITED STATES MARINE here in new orleans worked there for a while. all kevlar, 1708, divinycell- weighed every boat and differed a pound or so between each hull. i belive they are on hull #88 or something, haven't been that way in a while. they also are building the roybovich spencer

sportfish hulls. i watched them pop the first one out the mold, awsome!! i think the v hull order with the gov is nearing the end i belive the contract was for 120. some of the first ones have been auctioned off. they actually drop every boat out of a plane   . i remember they had built a prototype that was to cut through a wave the bow was like a wedge.it was the first 1 they built out of epoxy. needless to say they dropped that one out of a plane and when it hit the water the motors and drives kept going , right to the bottom of the atlantic ocean. cay you say "deessstroyed:eek:  "
