Shops with CNC machines
#1
Have a piece of hardware designed using autocad. The piece is about 12" in diameter and 2" tall. I'm looking for a shop that has a CNC machine that I could feed a Gerber file, or what ever format the machine uses, so I can cut the piece from a block of aluminum. Would like to find a shop as close to NJ as possible, anyone know of a place.

Most Modern shops can use almost any file to create a tool profile. The most common are IGES and STEP files.
I use AutoCAD's Mechanical Desktop 6.0 and can convert to and from these files easily. That's what I've been using when I need to send work out of house.
