Default survey?

I am looking at a 25' boat. Should that be surveyed as well? Is there a cut off in size.

How far should the inspection go. Structural, cosmetic, mechanical?

Thanks for the input.

Wait a minute. What kind of boat are we talking about? I've never surveyed any of my boats. I'd be happy to let a potential buyer do it, but I wouldn't pay for one. Like pb said...do you survey a 25' boat?

I just bought a boat and the survey gave me way more information than I thought I would get you also get a pice of mind in the condidtion of the boat and a good handle on the value. I would have any boat surveyed if I were buying it used especialy if your traveling a great distance. Tell the guy to keep shoping.

I WOULD USE THE POWER OF THE BOARD AND HAVE A HOUSTON AREA MEMBER TAKE A LOOK AT IT EVEN BEFOER A SURVEY!! Then he wouldn't waste any money.
