Well, here's an update. With just me in the boat and full tanks, it's fast......faster than it ever was or has been. I will say that I need larger pitch props. On Friday I was running some standard stock 30' pitch Bravo One props and I was bumping the rev limiters at 5700rpm. It just so happens that I have a pair of LABBED 32' pitch props. Hopefully, these will bring my RPM's down to about 5500 or so while increasing the speed---I guess we'll see. This is where it gets kinda fun. This is the part that I have been waiting for----for a looooong time. :)

How fast were you going at 5700 rpms?

Glad to hear it's running so well.

Kinda lumpy out there today, wasn't it?

O.K. somebody do the math on that. 5700 rpm and 30" wheels. I have forgotten the formula to figure speed from that. Let's use 10% for slip. He's got stand off boxes on that boat, so I'm sure his slip isn't much more than that anyway.

Who's gonna be the one to tell us Mark's super secret top speed???

Do the math if you like---will be interesting to see how close it is, however I will tell you that I did NOT quite have the boat trimmed all the way out and didn't stay in it long enough to get a top MPH reading. Trying to drive, throttle, read the GPS, watch the TACHS, trim indicators & other gauges while tring to watch where you are going is a kind of a hard thing to do when you are the only one in the boat. I may have stayed in it longer if I wasn't bumping the REV limiters---I just figured it was kind of a moot/redundant point from there with the need of larger props----but she's a RUNNER for sure!-----made me smile. :)

BTW Crazy, go read the "Grand Haven" thread that was started by "Audacity". I wrote a little story about your boat handling craft/talent.
