Perhaps a point of interest --- the boats are built and assembled at Douglas Marine, SKATER. Indeed, they are very stylish !

Skatergear,

it is not a "secret" that Skater has been subcontracted as a lamination shop by platinum. You can find information on this topic on our website.

Our products are a package. Skater provides one component of that package, specifically the lamination (in tooling which we provide). Credit for all other work, which I assume you mean when you refer to assembly, needs to go to Jim Dyke and his team at KR Racing.

Last but not least, thank you for the compliment!

Andreas

does the company have any interest in pursuing a factory 2 boat? are there any recorded speeds from the 41 vee? 90mph with twin 500's in a 41 footer would be very impressive. how are the handling charecteristics, reaction to trim and tab? Props?
The boat looks BEAUTIFUL. How many 41 vee's have been produced?
Again, beautiful boat.

I did. I'm actually in the picture on the Raptor 41. And I'm looking to buy that exact boat. That's how I found your site. Raptor is old school but so advanced at the time it's still The most precise missile for sale today. Ask me more. Or better, if you know of someone whose got one they're willing to sell to me let me know. Thanks.

I just checked out the website and I got to tell you, they're awfully impressive. Now, we're talking some serious technology...Aerospace grade boats?

Check them out:
