Catmando is correct about the gooseneck being easier on your truck. I have a GMC 2500HD, with Duramax Diesel Engine & Allison auto transmission, and the specs say towing capacity on ball hitch is 12,000lbs. Fifth wheel set-up is 15,000lbs.

We have a 53' Hauler, MYCO Black - never used. Triple Axel, changable bunks, true 5th wheel.
