I wish I would have had the chance to meet more OSO'rs at "The Turtle" but I was bummin' and was keepin' a close eye on the red submarine. I hope to see/meet some of the attendee's later this summer.:)

I totally forgot to say THANKS to Tom and his lovely other half on the Velocity for getting our card for us in Essex. They were really nice people. Also, that little 26 Velocity gets up and BOOGIES! That is one UN-ASSUMING boat, let me tellyou. She is sure a sleeper. I bet he has ruined many people's weekends with that rocket!

Jason,

That is because you are not a "STAR" member of OSO. If you join, i.e. pay at least $25.00 then you will be able to view this and the FINEST section of all, UNCENSORED!:D :D :D

VT32SSR 08-04-2003 01:32 PM

Shane,
We had a blast in the Velocity. The wife would have liked to hold back on one of the legs, but I Was having the time of my life.GLH Did a good thing. I Wish Bill Bunting could have made the trip also with his Velocity. Good luck on fixing your Skater. It sure looked cool running flat out across the broad lake too essex.

GLH 08-04-2003 03:11 PM

Huge you should be getting a sh!t load of pictures. Now run that Hustler at 3500 RPM for 2 hours instead of 5600 and you'll be able to afford the $25 for a membership!:D:D:D

GLH,
Thanks for putting on a great event. Hopefully it continues for years to come. Unfortunately I broke a gear in a drive and did not make it to burlington. My Brother in his Scarab completed the run and won second with his cards. He had a great time and thanks you as well. By the time I made it back to the ramp
in the bay and had my daughter bring the trailer down and then drove to the turtle, most had left. I am sure I will catch up with you at some point this summer now that I know what your boat looks like. Again thanks.

Ed

Chuck 08-05-2003 03:26 PM

Thanks GLH for a great time. Everyone abandoned me at the turtle though. I stayed until about 1 am. Was lucky enough to get a ride to my hotel but not lucky enough to remember the room my brother and I were staying in. Needless to say it was a long night sleeping on the floor in the Spectre. Again thanks for a good time!!!

I know that at your age you don't have much time left so I will hurry.:D:D:D

Here you are making friends between Valcour Island and NY state after launching, this is exactly where the War of 1812 happened, that should ring a bell, must of been back when you probably had a square rigged Skater!:D:D:D
