He's probably more sane than the rest of us...consider this: the rest of us go around in a frustrating circle of cleaning and doing maintenence on our boats and then taking them out on the water....only to require cleaning again and more maintenence...and so on and so on...like morons chasing our own asses. Fred cleans and maintenences the boat once (very thoroughly I might add) and then kicks back for months laughing at us all, as we circle in futility!

I think Fred loves boats, his problem is that I think he just hates the water.

OK so I am wrong, it's still hard to believe that if you buy a stripped down boat and rebuild it yourself to show room quality that you can't make a buck. Factoring in your labor probably not, but then this appears to be a hobby. I agree with Rippem, we are the insane ones, especially when you live in an area where you can boat about 3 months a year, and half of that time it rains!!!

I say anybody that thinks Fred has a problem needs to go find there own french fries that are missing. Fred has the coolest hobby around. Who cares if the boats don't get wet that offten. All the better for the recipeant of the final product. Too Old is doing what he wants, in my book thats worth all the tea in China.

Too Old, rock on buddy. Keep the projects comming.
