Default hot water

My hot water heater rusted out on my chris-craft stinger. I was looking at west marine and they have a in line water heater. I was wanting to know if any body has any info about this.

Looks like a space saving item.. I've seen these in homes, well bigger ones anyway..... would be easy to install and save weight as well. Weight of the tank and the weight of the water being held inside... sweet...

Whose using them???

Read the review on it... the one person who did one was not all that happy with it. Says he shoulda got another tank instead.

I like the tanks because the engines will heat the water, and it stays hot for a long time. The inline will require power whenever you need hot water. If you get a tank, get a stainless steel one.

Just read the review, guess it was too good to be true.... you also make a good point about not having hot water while underway.....
