These results are very interesting........ I especially like that no one voted for "The Movie Stars" which validated my point that Jason Priestly and that Back Street nonsense meant nothing to the sport.
Thanks to all for your input.

Being as I raced in the times where Johnson, Russel,& Norris were in the sport, I didn't see them as stars, just as other competitors with a little more crew than the other teams. (You couldn't help bumping into the body guards that came with them.) Drivers meetings never seemed so large...
I was approached by Johnson in Key West when he tore his boat up and he needed it fixed for the race the next day. Who referred him to me is still unkown to this day. I don't how he found the small guy from Jersey to come fix his big problem in Key West.
Anyway, when I received clearance to enter the navy base to inspect the hull, Johnson was happy to see me. Apparently the body guards weren't and they weren't even aware I was coming. I was already up in the bow of the hull to see the damage and out of no where one of the guards asked me to come out and said they have everything under control. (Please exit stage left) so to speak.....
On my way out of the base Johnson stops me and asks, "Where are you going?" I replied, "Your guards advised me they had everything under control. Good Luck..."
The stars all seemed to be short timers in the sport. Unfortunately nothing came into the sport from having them around.
Other than a so called "Elite" organization called OPT.
