The Sorcerer without a doubt. If you have not heard it cant explain. The blower surge is long its sounds like the motor is dying between surges. Rod has done some neat things with it. Hopefuly he will put it back on the Miss this year.

Let me first say i dont know sheet about building a blown engine...........
But when there is a huge surge in a blown application that means the motor is leaning itself then getting the fuel to catch back up, to me this would be extreamly hard on internal engine components, cant ya just tune your carbs properly to run at about 900-1100 rpm.......Or is that to high to shift the trans in and out of gear.....

That´s easy - the 45´fountain racer INXS - they weren´t joking when they wrote Monster Exhausts on the boat. I was out at turn 1 back in the mid 90´s during the Key West World Champ´s and you could hear that thing over anything else back in the harbour!!

At 900-1000 it will bang going into gear.

Thanks rob..........I just thought logically the lean cycle would be hard on parts, i kind of figured it would be for shifting...It must be trickey to time the shift and scary when it grabs

it did lunge, alot of people tyhink ya do it on purpose, as far as being hard on stuff, maybe fueling the oil? It took a little getting use to docking moving waiting on putting it in gear

with big cams its hard to get them to idle low to shift a bravo. I woild shift mine on the bottom of the down cycle,it would surge up to 1400rpm at idle.the surge wouldnt clean up untill 2200.but it was turned up pretty tight
At 900-1000 it will bang going into gear.
