which engine 502efi or 500efi ?

I have to agree with the concensus, 500. However, I would also consider calling Jack Boyd to build you an engine that will be just as reliable, if not more so, and FAR FAR FAR more reasonbly priced. That pretty blue paint is SURE EXPENSIVE! He is a "behind the scenes" kind of guy, but he is the man behind many top engine builders around the country. He located just outside of Albany. He is as stand up and honest as you get, and he does what he says he will, when he says he will do it. I can PM you his number if you would like. He will also not let something leave his shop that he is not proud to put his name on.
