We did just the sides on my boat (40' Formula) to remove the old graphics. With sanding off the old stuff, patching some old screw holes where the prior owner had put cover snaps in the middle of the sides, and closing off the unused genset exhaust port the tab came to just under $5k. If memory is correct the paint/materials were about $1500 of that. Removing the drives/tabs/platform to do the transom would have added a lot more to the tab, and since it was still the original white gel we just left that as is.
