They are the antithesis of South Florida and build the best 28 and 41 foot Offshore V's on the planet but their not for posers. Ya want to know something call 616 837 6442 I gurantee one of the brother's Geelhoed ( Doug or Jim) will answer the phone but be patient, they speak the same way they build boats, very slowly.

UH...... i don't know Wickedwon, i was at SABER the other day and both jim and doug were wearing black turtle necked jumpsuits and lots of jewelry

maybe it's the new marketing plan

Faster than any 41'- 42' twin or triple Apache hull ever has, The advent of reliable GPS took 8 - 12 mph off the old accepted top end speeds from " back in the day". My wife has spent more time at 100mph in a V bottom than Ben K. ever did. The boat runs, with 250 - 300 gals of fuel, six people, full coolers and all the necessary crusing junk, 103 -105 in the flat and 107 -108mph in a 2' chop. The only boat thats ever been able to run with me in big water is LEOPAJM's Saber with triples, when it gets REALLY rough he has the edge, mines much more sensitive to trim so when it's really kick'n I've got to pay more attention than Jerry.

BTW this ain't bragging, just the facts, The mechanic for one of the more popular big power 41's told me after a run
" watching you go by was beautiful, but painful "

108mph......faster then any other twin or triple 41-42 Apache? not all of them, you can't actually think you have the fastest 41-42 built . and your right gps doesnt lie..

Easy Sling.....there were a couple 41/42 that broke 100, The fastest being ApachePete's 41 Allez Vite @ 106 mind you were only talking 41/42 here. Slingers boat bumped the digit a couple of times. 108 is very respectable indeed. Guess you guys will have to meet in the rough someday!!!!!!!

Well thats pretty blunt. I gotta believe it though. Very few 41 Apaches actually break 100 consistently. Geronimo used to stay next door to my house. The old owner used to say, "oh yeah, I'm bumpin 100-101" I would be like, "anyway, why do 90mph boats pass you regularly."
